Today is the Independence anniversary of Mexico!!!! Me and my friends are all going out to shout for mexico.

Every year is the same, people of the city gather all around the main square in front of La parroquia to celebrate and shout our Independence!!!

Yes, I understand not many people are very patriotic and just want a party to go to in the long weekend, but this is an event that reminds us all who we are and unites us all under the Mexican flag.

All I can say is that I feel super proud of being half Mexican because it has been 200 years of being our own country.

Hello bloggers, Today i'm in a really bad mood, so instead of writing something nice, I'll tell you how my day start, and how probabily will ends. Today I wake up feeling in a really good mood, but all changes when I arrive to school, and I was the only one in my class. The fact of being the only idiot, that decide to follow the rules was kind of anoying.

Well after a few minutes a friend arrive, but any way i was still pist-off. Finally at reces I decide to take a break, so I talk to shant,(a good friend)my bad mood disappear, so I take my classes like every day. When it was the time for reading class, my anger decided to return. I was in a terrible mood, I couldnt try to be nice, but I made an effort, but it was useless. Im writting this post because I want to complain about my situation, but I don't want to disturb people, and this is the best way, allmoust none-one reads our post.

Hi ,today is September 15, tomorrow is el grito de mexico , a holliday, and that is very interesting.
I dont really wanna go out because its gonna be full!! But at the same time I wanna go out to get some fun.so that's it.

Today is the 15th of september which is a huge deal because it´s the grito so everyone from all over mexico to have the celebration in san miguel and its a big deal.The grito is given at 12 am by the whole town and visitors and its a great excuse for everyone to party and have fun. I will go to a party with my friend Leslie and have dinner with her and then go home after everything. I am very excited for tonight!!

OMG This could be the start of something new, and it feels so right .
Yesterday was my birthday. XD My quinceañera party. It was just a little dinner with my favorite friends, my mother and sister. I really enjoyed it.
I love this month. It is almost the best month of the year. A lot of parties are coming soon and one of my best friends has a surpirse for me.

This wek I went to the gym with Leny in the Centro. yesterday I hade a big sandiwich it was relly good, Then i hade some burritos it was Ana birthday and we hade some kake!
I was taking care of my kitty and my dog. It was funny they starded to play . Thats the good things of my week!

A good thing is that tomorrow is Friday and I can sleep late and do what ever I want.

OK SO HERE´S WHAT MY THOUGHTS ARE THESE DAYS....
I was wondering what the rest of the school year was going to be like, until the principal comes up to me. We start chatting about the classes when she stares at my nose with a face of desbelief. YOU´RE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE THAT ON CARLA.
WHY NOT? ITS NOT LIKE IM HURTING ANYBODY.
STILL, DO YOU THINK MY DAUGHTER WOULDNT DO THAT IF I ALLOWED IT IN THIS SCHOOL?
I repeated that question in my head wondering what did the principals daughter had to do in all this as she went on and on about it not being alowed.
She never told me why was the exact reason why I wasn´t allowed 2 have a personal way of expresing myself.
I have a problem with that, why isn´t anyone alowed to have piercings in their body in this school if it is not interfiering in anybody elses integrity? Ugh, this is frustrating. I just wish there was some kind of group if people who would touch this theme to come up with an agreement.

Might it be because Imelda doest´n want her daughter 2 get a BAAAAD idea? That would be very selfish...

Hí, I am Farid. I entered a week later to school. I was visiting Cd. Juarez. So here I am having some fun time in blogger.

Last night I couldn't sleep until 1 am. My father is on a business trip, and he didn't call until 1 a.m. I was worried about him. In the morning I had to wake up at 6 a.m. I looked like a zombie, because I couldn't sleep. I had a terrible nigthmare about me driving a car running away from a big wave. Finally the wave hits me, and I suddenly wake up. I had to drive to school. On the road I was in a bad mood, thinking how stupid the others drivers were when they cut in-front of me. Finally my brother and I arrived. I took the stairs to the classroom, and I sat in the class. FInally I was awake, but my face reflected my nightmares and the bad night that I'd just had. The second class started, and the professor told me, "Why so lazy"even when I was trying to pay attention to his class. Maybe he was worried about me because I looked like a zombie. I wasn't lazy. I was just tired and mad. I just said, "No, I'm fine" and took his boring class.

I just don¨t beleve it! There's a hand reader in the class. It is so interesting. I don't really know how he does this but he is right in all the stuff he says.
He told me that I'm a difficult person to read and that I hold a big secret ...
He also reads the eyes and reflections. I dont't know if it's real but seems to be.
The reader and mystical person is Isaac by the way. What special classmates we have.

This week has been depressing. I cant help but miss everyone that was here previous years and I get sad because they are not here. The only good thisng about this week is that tomorrow is friday and then its the weekend!

I am from here, San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato. I used to be with these kids in another school so a am not that new so I have friends. The school is located in Centro so it's close to everything so it's nice. I am having a good time in the school.

Hi, i´m new in colegio multicultural siglo XXI, my name is Ivonne i come from Tequisquiapan Queretaro and i´m in advance inglish class, i have met some nice people and i´m enjoing my time here.
There are big changes for me like in my class we are 8 studiants and in the other one we were 20, also i wake up much more early.

I come from a school that teach me a lot of inglish because the owners of the school are from the U.K and they bring the teachers from there, so i think that´s why i´m in this class. My class mates are Shantal, Ana, Leny, Vanny and Sean. I didin´t know anyone of them before coming here so that´s also a change.

I really miss my friends of Queretaro but people of San Miguel de Allende are also nice so i´m happy of coming here. I came here because my mum liked this town time ago and when she got a job here that´s when we diced to move here.

Hello again I alredy have right in this blog before but this is a new year now and I am in ninth grade and some other friends have left us to go to high school.
There are new classmates in the school and in the advance english class too we have shantal and ivonne , I have meet shantal before from the primaria and she is a good friend, and ivonne I really don't know her a lot but me cae bien and she is friendly.
Well thats the new ones on english class and in my grade is just two more guys manuel and isaac they are nice well good guys and friendly.
I miss all my friends from last year and the old times but ths is a new year and there are more adventures to live and remember.
I think im ready for this new cycle.

This school year is very different in many ways. In the first place, a lot of my old classmates left which is kind of depressing and also last year used to be more fun. We are missing Leslie, Bruno, Farid, Abish and Brenna and we have three new kids in our class, Ivon, Isac and Manuel. They are fun but not the same. We also have a new audio visual room in the bat cave and that's pretty much it. We still get in a t 7am till 3 pm but this time classes don't seem that long any more. I like all of our teachers, They are nice but it is still the first week...

It was so boring and even though I did crazy things with my friends, it was boring because I didn't go to EL MINT and my other friends did. After that I talked with my mom and she told me that she would think about it and if I go she would only let me go if I go with my cousin or an older friend that she knows. PFF THATS SO UGLY .

Most of the time I was just working, from 11 am to 8 pm.... Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. And I went out with Juan carlos, Javier and Sean. Abish was gone for a week and a half. She went to Aguascalientes. I did not have that much fun but it was ok!

six flags!

Here´s me blogging out on the steps where the internet connection is better.

The trip to Six Flags whas really fun. I spend it with my best friend, my boyfriend, my little brother and my mom although must of the school was there.

We left from the Aldea at 4:30, in a bus that was full. We were sleeping, eating, laughing. we had also a bad time, because the driver took the wrong way to SF, and drove us all the way into downtown Mexico City. not fun. It was hot, sweaty and steamy.

My other spring break have been a little different. In this one I'll get a job and make some money on my own .
I'll like to have a little more time with my mom and my sister because I spend too much time with my friends. But at the same I would like to have more time with my friends out of school and with no homework.
Well in case they don't want me in the job or I find complications (hope not) I'll be with my friends almost all the time , doing crazy stuff.

Six Flags

Thursday at 4:30 am Leslie and I arrived at "La Aldea" ready to travel to DF to our destination, Six Flags. The trip was tiring because nobody slept well and someone got sick but me and my boyfriend Javier had a great time laughing, eating, listening music, watching the movie or just sleeping on each other. Finally we arrived at Six Flags. Everybody was screaming and getting crazy, talking about the rides, the food, the guys, the girls. Juan, Leslie, Javier and I stayed together and the rest left for another place. We bought flashPas to get early to the rides. When we were ready to get into the Superman, it failed and we started to walk in circles and then someone told us that the rides were ready, so we got on Bumerang, then we went to Batman and after that, we went to eat something. After we ate, Juan and Leslie went to the Kilahuea and Javier and I went somewhere else beacuse we were scared for the ride! At 6:00 pm we went to the Carrusel with Imelda and then we got on the bus and returned to San Miguel. We arrived at 12:00 am. During vacation I will go to FNS2O11 (feria nacional de san marcos 2O11) with my dad and my friends from Aguascalientes. I will stay there one week and then the next weekend I return to San Miguel and after that I will go to Veracruz for a track competition. Abish

six flags!

Two weeks ago we went to Six Flags in Mexico City with the school.We left at 4 in the morning on a bus twords owr destiny. W e were suposed to arrive a t 10 in the morning the most but the bus driver went into the city and lost us ther for atleast 2 hour instead of going around the city. Finally we got there and had a great time. We saw a dolphine show , got on extreme rides and ate french fries and by the time we were ready to leave every one was ready to have a long nap on the bus.

Maybe why could investigate the history of the music an the dances of the us.

what I did over the Weekend

My mom went to a tae kwon do seminar the entire weekend, so my dad, my brother and I were left alone. On friday, I went with Bruno, my boyfriend, to watch a movie and to hang out around town. My brother went over to the neighbors house to play and to swim for the entire weekend. My dad and I on saturday I stayed home cleaning up the kitchen my dad left durty. On sunday I had planed to go out with Bruno, but I couldn't call him because I had no credit on my phone, so I wne with my dad to the towns mueseum, we also got an ice-cream. We rented the movie Megamind, went home and that was my entire weekend. Brenna

I would change the strict measures that have to do with "love". We are young and we need adults to believe that we will do the right thing. Also the emotional paranoid thinking, we don't need it! osmond!

If I were to change something from my school I think it would be what we can and can't do.We are only allowed to be in the court yard but that's where the boys play soccer and we get hit every once in a while and it's not fun.I would also like to be able to pass through the batcave and not have a huge door trapping us like animals so that we could go to the kitchen.

IF I CAN CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT SCHOOL I WOULD .....

School would be more fun if some teachers weren't that strict. My classmates always are uncomfortable with this kind of conduct . I know that we are so rowdy but we are teenagers and maybe sometimes we don't know how to act.
It would be more satisfactory if we could have more discipline and not have some teachers improvising some classes and projects.

If I was to change one thing about my school

If I were to change one thing about my school, Siglo XXI, I would focus more on history classes and have a more inspiring teacher who makes you wnat to learn more about the subject. I would also make the 25 peso lunch free so even the poor kids can eat (like me). The last thing that I would change, would be for all the students to be interested in what they are learning in any subject, but they could still have fun and be learning.

The most recent thing that happened is, my boyfriend just left to his families private mini resort (6 hours away). So while he is gone, that will give me more time to work on my Black Belt test for next year. I have been preparing for this test since last year, right now I'm writing a thesis and doing 100 hours of service. So far every thing is going great, but at any moment it can get better or worse. I miss my boyfriend very much, so my plan is that if he can go on vacacion why can't I. So this Saturday I'm going to Tolantongo with my family, my momo doesn't want to go because she has a cast on her arm, so she really can't swim, but the rest of the family really wants to go. I'm going to have a blast this weekend if we go, and if we don't we'll just go visit my family in Pachuca, but I'ts still going to be very fun.

What Do I Do To Be Healthy

Usually what I do is exercise every day at least an hour, I eat something small every 3 hours and try not to eat dary or sweets to help my pimples and zits. So far It has been working for me. I feel great inside and out.

Tomorow we are having the exposition about our sustainable school . We will talk about compost - what can be composted and what can't, benefits of composting and how to compost.

What's new in English class

Sustaintable school, a project with many expectatives from our future, an espectacular project that can be useful from the earth health.
Sue, our english teacher, help us to do some compost. The compost is useful for plant food without pesticides. That compost will be from a exposition in the school this friday.

We are reading this book called ¨ The House in Mango street¨ by Sandra Cisneros. The book is about a girl that tells us her life, her dreams, and hopes. Her life is hard and she knows that. She is a really down to earth young lady who knows what she wants! She has lots on her mind, and she writes about it, about her neighbors, anything. What is new ...

Friday, a relaxing day with nothing new. After shool Leslie, Juan, Javier and I went to eat Burritos, delicious I think, then to buy some Lemon Pie, more than delicious.
All day we were funny, laughing about everything, going anywhere, just having a great time. We went to Starbucks for a smoothie. Bruno went with us, something uncomfortable because Leslie was with Juan and I with Javier, so Bruno was like a third wheel.
The day was ending, the sun was disappearing and many people I knew were arriving to the jardin. One little girl, one of my best friends or that's what I thought, when i said 'Hello' to her she was just like 'Oh yeah hi', and the first thing that passed in to my head was 'Okay she hates me because I broke up with Andres. That's not fair because I think she was one of my best friends :('.
Saturday, a hard day. Woke up and went to work at 9:00 am, no success in it, becuase there were not many clients. Returned to my house and got ready for a important party, Juan's uncle's party. More later ...

My best friend is going to join the military

My best friend is going to join the U.S. military in about 4 months. He wants to be a military medic. He told me that was his long life dream (dont ask me why but that is his dream). He told me that he will come visit every 6 months, but I'm afraid that something bad is going to happen to him. I'm going to miss him very very much, now that he promised to be my lifelong friend.

About me!

Some thing new, Sean, Ana, Abish, and I attended the ¨Teen Writers Workshop¨ was fun but, Ana and Sean weren´t allowed to participate in the raffe and Abish and I had a good laugh. We had to write about an island and a candy had some thing to do with it, then an animal had to come in to the story, we had to add a sound, then a stone had to figure in the story.

We are working on a neww salsa and bachata dance.Is very funny.we are also going on a trip tomarrow.we are going to cañada de la virgen it is about an half an hour from San miguel de allende.Last Monday we visited Michael Scott he is the owner of tienda la covacha.

School New

Last year the school was so relaxed and without discipline; so this year (3rd) Imelda, the principal, made a lot of changes in all aspects like stricter measures. There's also a sustainable school project. Things that, in a future, would be great for us.
The changes were so radical because all the guys who were here last year were accustomed to relaxed classes, and no homework. But with these changes that Imelda implemented, we are learning more and we can grow up better, with clearer goals and a better outlook of the life.
I'm in 3rd grade of junior high school, but in just 5 mounths I will go to high school in the Universidad de Celaya. I think that school is good because they support sports, like track, and offer extracurricular activities. But now I just think about parties, nice guys, best friends, and all my hobbies like dancing, singing, writing, poetry, and sports, like track and vollyball.
I like to go out with my best friends Leslie and Sean, with Juan, Leslie's boyfriend, and Javier, my boyfriend. But I can go out with other friends like Ana, Leny, Jeru... Well many other friends that I want to go out them everyday!
When I graduate from junior high school I will go to study to the Universidad de Celaya, the problem is that I don't think that I will live there so I will travel to high school in a school bus from San Miguel de Allende to Celaya. I don't know if that would be tiring for me because I leave from my house like one hour to get there early and when I finally leave school I will get to my house like at 5:30 pm.
Well, I will see what is better to do when I enter in high school, know I just want to concentrate on my studies and on getting great grades.

The new thing in school:
1.- We are doing a new dance with are dance/yoga teacher to perform soon.
2.- You can't hug, kiss, hold hands (technically NO TOUCHING YOUR BOYFRIEND)
at any time in school.
3.- The teachers are leaving a lot more homework this semester.

Whats new with me:
1.- I'm preparing for my black belt test for next year.
2.- I'm dating someone, who is wierd just like me.
3.- I did an excelent teakwondo test on Saturday, and a lot of people congradulated me.

What I'll be doing in 5 years:
1.- I'll be probably studying in the U.S.
2.- Thinking where i''l be living and working
3.- Walking my rotweiler in the park.

New dance

For the last few weeks, students from prepa and 1st,2nd and 3rd of secundaria have all been practicing the new dance Paulina has composed for us. We all have a dance partner but we change sometimes and our dance is bachata.

We will perform it in front of our parents and friends sometime around May but the date is still not set. We practice out in the court yard almost every day for an hour. Every day we get better and better.

Some of the new things in school this year are the new salsa and bachata dances. I don't really like dancing these dances but I need to do it but even so I'm not good a it. Another new thing in school is that teachers put locks on the door and now we can't go to the "baticueva" a nice place were we liked to spend recess. They also put locks on the window (these makes me feel like animals in a cage) but someone broke it so we have our window back.
We went on a trip to la cañada de la virgen to see how people construct with natural materials.It was fun at some parts and boring at some others, but in general we had a good time.

Today we are talking about love. A subject that everyone cares about. It's a feeling that makes people happy and crazy! Last Monday it was the 14th, a special day for all lovers. It was Valentine's Day. Me and my best friend had a great time that special day, both with boyfriends.
I guess all the lovers had a great time and spent it with their true love.

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

It's hard to know when you're in love, when you want to be with that special person for the rest of your life. Sometimes love hurts, and you feel like you never wanted to feel that feeling, but in the end you are happy that you felt that. Sometimes it's a magical feeling you get inside, and you want to spend every moment with that person. LOVE has advantages and disadvantages, in the end everybody has his or her own idea about what love is about, and when you want to know what it feels to be in love you'll know because everyone eventually falls in love. Love's day is a way to celebrate a beautiful feeling, LOVE. On love's day you do something special with the one you love.
On love's day we had a little party in school. There I gave a little present to my girlfriend, then I went to a frien's house were I was dropped from a moving vehicle.The best part was that I went to la Luciernaga with my girlfriend.

WHAT IS NEW IN SCHOOL

We have new teachers and we are playing soccer against other schools.
We also have a project named Sustainable School. That project is about

how we are!

We are 7 kids (5 girls 2 boys.)
We all are the advanced english class in siglo 21. 8th and 9th graders.
Describing everyone is like the flavor of a chocolate cake, we're so different but still we blend in like flour and milk.
I'll start with Abish. She is a nice, tall, skiny, pretty, funny and social. Good friend!
Then we have Brenna, a shy blond girl that likes to read and read jaja!
Next Sean who has a wonderful, light and big smile, as well as distinguished character!!
Ana A cute, happy and funny soul who is always there for you in times of need!!
Now the annoying boys, sure. They are two cute and smiley and funny kids that I love - Bruno and Farid. They are there for me all the time.
And there´s me - a cute, blonde, sassy and odd girl that loves the kind of light that you'll find here.

whats new...

Since last May, the school has changed quite a bit.
We now have new classmates, lunch we can buy and we have 8 new computers that were donated for blog class!
We have a few new teachers and a new school project that is Sustainable School.Our class is in charge of composting and next Tuesday we will take a trip to a house were they do composting with worms and without worms.

Larry Rand class

Larry Rand is a guest lecturer that came to my class to teach us about the U.S. Constitution. From Conneticut, he has been a History teacher for 40 years. He started out his class comparing the U.S. and the Mexican Constitucion. Example:
Mexican.- men and women have equal job rights, in everything that they do and also women are guaranteed time after giving birth to nurse on the job.
He also talked about the Supreme Court. during that time one of my class mates fell asleep. He started talking a lot about politics and the class ended talking about the Constitution.
