A Snow Day

We were eating churros and drinking hot chocolate. Suddenly we thought it was hailing, but Carla noticed that the hail was falling slowly. She ran outside and started yelling and jumping. She ran back into the restaurant, telling us to go outside. I went running with her, but my other friend, Maria stayed because all of our stuff was in the restaurant and she didn't want anybody to steal it.

I saw my mom dancing in the snow and some kids from Milenio sliding on the ground. Carla called her mom to come pick her up and to see the snow. While we were waiting, we made snow balls and threw them at each other. We all went home wet and cold.
