Beverly Donofrio`s Visit
October was an awesome month. One of the cool things that happened was the visit of author Beverly Donofrio to our school. Currently we`re reading fiction and non-fiction books and one of them was Beverly`s memoir "Riding in Cars With Boys". She came to talk about her book and all her experience living, writing and publishing it.
Students from prepa and secundaria had the opportunity to live this great experience. Donofrio is a very open-minded woman and she has an amazing memory, which makes her memoir writing perfect. She tells things just as they were without caring what people think and it was truly fascinating to hear about her life.
